boom;

OK you caught me. Actually I have been an HPI supporter from day 1. I still run a HPI Pro-3 every weekend and the R40 design is very intriguing to me. Would be nice to kick some Nitro butt with an HPI again.

Anyway,my R40 is packed along with my Super nitro for the worlds..

Anyone else going?.............................
I packed my Super nitro and a borrowed R40 yesterday as well (it's the borrowed R40 that has caused me to enter this thread lately and bring up the notorious 'gear' question... I didn't even have the car yet but I needed to purchase some gears for it... sorry if I started a storm, but I think everyone understands the gear issue now... I know I do...

What a pain it is packing all your RC stuff into a suitcase to bring along on a plane (I don't know about you, but I have to fly out there). There was no way I could bring along starter boxes, tire truer, etc. I just hope there are people out there willing to share.

I'd like to meet you out there... my 'real' name is also 'Walt' (creative, huh?). I won the Midwest Super Nitro class this year and the drawing, so I'm out there on HPI's dime. Stop by and introduce yourself. I'll have a green/yellow/white Suzuki Pikes Peak body on the R40 and an orange/yellow/white LMR (with 'Walt' on the rear wing) on my Super.

I'm leaving tomorrow to spend a few days sight seeing with my wife before the racing starts.

I will be packing up my stuff and heading out the the Worlds on Thursday. For any of the guys flying out, I will be the lone TX representative (see entry listing). You can find me with in the vehicle with TX plates. I will be bringing an ez-up and the like and should have some room under the tent for a couple of wayward racers.

fastharry, good luck at the Worlds. Just a bit of advice, when you make it to the A main, find a pitman that won't let someone walk off with your starter box .

yeah, my mouth might be bigger but I know more so I have more to say

looking forward to meeting you all out there. we'll be there on thursday and friday.

definetly would like to take you up on the extra pit space under the canopy.

my r40 will have either a bright pink with blue splash stratus on it or an escudo that is purple, white, green and orange..

the super is blue with some nice flames on it. its on hpi's site in teh northeast report as a concourse finalist.

can't wait to see the r40 on a real track with 200 ft stretch!
