Well, there is the brute-force method or the meticulous method.
There are many tricks probably but for me the best way is to use a set of short body posts so that when you lay the clear body down over the car, the posts are not holding the body up too far off of the ground. If you use a short set of body post, you will be able to lay the body over the top of the car and the body can go near the ground. Then you can use a marker to mark the outside of the body where the body posts will protrude.

Good luck and post some pics!

Ok you guys... I think I understand the gear ratio now... I guess raising the spur one T should only have a 2% effect, It should be around the same... Anyway I'll give it a shot tomorrow to see how it handles.

HarkonnenD: how's that lola body turning out???

You are completely right... my car weighs 1780 grams without the body, my lightweight M3 body weighs 100 grams, so yep I'm back to 1880, but lighter than before... lol

It doesnt make any sense to me to use this mount position so I will move my rear link up so that it doesnt make contact with the rear sway bar. Do you guys see what I am talking about? Any comments on how you would set this up? If I understand roll center correctly, if I do move this UP, in effect I am RAISING the roll center which will INCREASE the amount of roll in the rear. Comments please.
You can bend open your rear sway bar just a bit. That will move the ends away from the rear link enough so it clears. I hope my explanation makes sense.

Use the stock setup. It's really good. Good top speed and great acceleration if you use the proper washer setup.

Yeah that's how I have mine now, I put the extra one because I felt the clutch too slipery... afterwards I noticed that the clutchnut had fallen, so maybe that was the problem, but still I'll try this, if not I''l take 1 copper out...
