where can I get the tools to take the the pinion gear off the clutchbell? do they have it at towers? I don't even know what you call that part???

True, though that won't help me much with draggin back and forth. I'm thinking about that .18TZ. Not sure...

Vice+ Vice grips + thick towel= unscrew pinion and not mess up the gear.

I think HPI makes that pinion wrench or something I've seen. I have a regular wrench that has teeth to lock into the pinion's teeth. Works like a charm .

I'm not sure about that. LOL. I think it was in the LW 2speed manual or something.

That engine is bad ass I would get it too... but my track is not as long to have that much torque... I rather use mine and have a light car...
this sunday I will have some footage of the r40 LW vrs. the serpent OS .18tz....

Whats the round washer for? Is that used instead of the flange bearing on the clutchbell?

Yeah. For now there isn't any place to race legally so I may give it a try. I mean I can easily slide out with the MT12, but with a bit of practice I can learn the TZ. My friend thinks its gonna be easy with the RB, but eh..he's gonna be all over too! LOL. Maybe I'll get it, because to pay for an RB being well over $230 is just crazy.

Well in that case get because it's only $190 I beleive and its faaaaast!!!

on the picture above about the LW 2 speed what's the silver washer for?
