then yes it is.

Remember that HPI sells a conversion kit to 2004 specs part 33413 which you can get from Japanese shops and it is much cheaper than buying the parts seperately.

It should run less than $180.
AMG thanx... When I first ordered my R40 I thought that the one at rcmart was simply more expensive for God knows what reasons, but now I see why... I should have gotten the rcmart version because wit all the extras I beleive I have spent more than $200 USD... My version is the one at towers, but hopped up...

I race on parking lots, so there is a slight bump on one turn in which I always hear the chassis shave...
My ride's height is 4.5mm rear 4.0mm front and it handles awesome
You should try it....

HarKonnenD did you finally lower yours a bit?

i'm currently 1mm higher then your setup and have very little shaving in comparison.

I to have a bump on my track that scrapes up the bottoms of a lot of cars.

If you have e-mail that handle more than 10MB's I'll e-mail a video clip of my R-40 and a Serpent bashing around at the parking lot...

Ask HarKonnenD, I e-mailed it to him...

yep the lower you get, the lower your CG will be and the cars will handle way better. I also have great setup when it comes to camber, caster and toe-in, so that also helps on the track or parking lot...

klanderman you've got PM.

I'm still running pretty much the stock setup maybe 1/2 a degree off here and there

I probably scrape it a bit more last weekend as I was trying the CG at 3.5mm front and 4.0mm rear, since I'm getting a LW chassis I can go ahead and try to see if the handling was better, but that bump actually makes my car jump a bit, so I went back to 4.5mm rear and 4.0mm front...
