this is the lightweight chasis for the R-40. Towerhobbies ships worldwide. I'm from Guatemala and they ship all the way here.
Good luck!

Default Going to buy r-40!!!

Hey Guys,
I am going to buy the r-40 after I sell my hopped up rs4. Its just a money pit that thing. Well, I have decided I am ging to buy a duratrax starter box and run it off of those flat pack battery packs(like in an easy start). Is this going to be powerfull enough? Also, I am probably going to buy a hpi .12r sx or a siro .12 EVO 2 5-Port. I want the siro .12 but is it too powerful?
Thanks In Advance
P.S. heres my rs4: anyone want to buy it?

R40 is a nice car. For the price you can't beat it. IThe Sirio Evo 2 is an nice engine with lots of power. Don't drive it in a small place. LOL. Try a Novarossi or RB pipe with the car.

Hey you guys I tried the aluminum gear case for the front and rear diff and they workk great! One thing I noticed before assembly is that they have ball bearings and the stock ones don't, therefore the car moves freely an the acceleration works better!!! the brand is Three racing. you can find them at www.rcmart.com under parts, then under hpi r-40, then under 3 racing... good luck

Default Great Deal

Hey,
Yesterday I was at the hobby shop and the owner and I were talking about the r40 and he said he was selling his!! He offered it to me for $350 with a sirio .12 3 port with tuned pipe, hpi lightened chassis, kyosho metal threaded shocks, lightened driveshafts(i think he said) and more stuff. On Long Island we are getting 2 feet of snow, so I am shoveling for money so hopefully I can get the car in 2 or so weeks.
Later Guys
