Tranced, mine is 8mm....that's good for 2 degrees camber..BTW<I hate my hudy set up......I use a combo set up guage from my nitro tc3,and a hudy ride ht and droop blocks to set to the car up...I adjust rear toe just like I did on the tc3...stand the car on its tail, pop the guage next to the wheel, and its done..I use it for camber also,,front and back...the only thing you really need the set up for is front toe.....and I do that by eye( I remember reading in an old Vector set up book that front toe is the easiest adjustment to do by eye).....

BTW,I just picked the 9550 servo..very sweet.....Futaba also makes a 3010 servo.......90 oz of tq......and a .16 transit time....Top ball bearing.....and get this...weighs 41 grams...only 23 bucks......might make a great throttle servo..esp with the high tourque.....and LOW weight....
Yes I have been running the 4 gear rear for a few months now. The problem I had with the 2 gear rear was that the diff became inconsistent. After around 10 tanks or so it lightened up significantly until you rebuilt it. Wierd.

That servo combo you mentioned is exactly what I am using. Works unreal.

Stock, as you said earlier, is -6 degrees, which is very much obscene.. you said you had -3, which is what i'm shooting for, i have an outdated hudy setup so i have to go by measurements, etc..

if you can get that length for me, its much appreciated.
Around 8.3 to 8.4mm if you are using the graphite rear tower and the starting position they mention in the instructions.

After seeing the results with HPI's towers(esp. the rear one with the lower arm standoff's), I WOULD NOT use any other brand...

BTW,I might have the gear stuff for sale...

graphite shock towers, and umm that it is about it.. pretty much anything that will make it lighter, lightwieght shafts, .8 tranny..... and depending on your driving style you might want the front one way.

BTW,anyone kmow where to get a lightweight battery pack?...Trinity has them, but not in the flat style...
if you want light... get a LiPoly (lithium polymer), i work at a hobby shop and all the plane guys put them in there planes because they are lightest things out right now, and they also get the longest runtime. so if you are only using it as a receiver pack then it will last a long time. they are pretty expensive, and depending on what charger you have, a charger is really expensive also.

no i cannot stop complaining about the weight its 1885g for crying out loud

ask NCC and proteus i can run a damn near perfect line for an entire race and still be a full second per lap slower than most everyone else

and yes i know there are alot of other things that could be causing my somewhat slow laps but honestly i think its the fact im pulling nearly 200g more around the track than most of my competitors

goldenboy i am using the stock gearing for 2nd and went down 1 tooth on the 1st gear pinion to 15t and up 1 tooth on the 1st gear spur our track is about 120ft but it depends on your engine also
