Don't forget, the R40 upright turnbuckle are those center adjustable one, that means both thread are in 2 different directions....

If that is a known problem of the R40, please direct that information to BMI (since you are local with them) and have them to made a set JUST for R40.....cause so far there are more then 1 person have the same problem....I remembered when NTC3 came out, everyone are having the exact same problem untill we saw all the TEAM ASSICATE factory driver are having those special made NUTS on their NTC3 and no one know where they got those.....untill BMI made one for the public.
I can go back by and see what he says because he has to make a new version since the new tc3 rear end got changed

Hey guys,

I know a friend that will make Titanium parts for the R40 if we get enough people that are interested.

So let me know if you guys want anything made (chassis, etc.)

Domo, I am pretty sure that everyone will agree with that one: Pivot Ball.

Heard that GPM are doing some, but the titanium level is so low that they should not even have the right of using the word Titatium on those package.

So count me in if you guys are going for those.

Ill see if he could make that. Anyone have an extra pivot ball they want to give away? This will be used as a model.

Heres his site. As you can see, he makes parts for HPI Nitro cars/trucks. BTW, he doesn't accept paypal.

Hey Domo,

by the way, I see that you are from San Fransisco. Do you have any permanent tracks around there? I am from San Jose and I usually go to the permanent track at Fremont www.lemanskarting.com ...they don't advertise the track on the site, but they have one.

So we might set something to lap those R40 sometimes __ >

There are zero tracks in SF. Land is too expensive.

If you go up to Antioch, Delta R/C is a nice track.

also for the rear body mounts you can use losi part #a4228 with the rear graphite shock tower.

You can find them thru BMI website that someone posted above, but don't get the NUTS that is for NTC3, they are standard thru, I am sure R40 are using metric.

However, no one stopping you to use the NTC3 rear turnbuckle and use "THE NUTS" then use the R40 ball cups at the end....however, the NTC3 rear turnbuckle might be a little TOO LONG, that might not fit the R40.
