Hey guys, how do you route your wires?

I route mine through the battery box(as manual said) and when I put the battery/battery cover on, it sticks out. Looks like too much wiring?

You'll find that the wires almost need an extension to make it to the receiver, BUT you can run the servo leads in between the tank and the battery compartment. It's a tight fit, just make sure that the servo leads are not twisted underneath the tank. They must lie flat. It's less of a stretch than trying to run them in front.

So what kind do you recommand, voltage, amps, brands...

I don't really know which one I can pick up. I have a Futaba Receiver...

Thanks!
If you know how to solder wire or battery, open up your hump pack and solder the upper 2 batteries to the bottom....then electric tape it and use heat strink tube the battery....DONE....cost less then $2 for the whole project.

Default Mugen MTX3 and R40 same tire?

A friend of mine has a bunch of mugen tire for me ...but I wonder if they are the same as an R40.

So briefly, is MTX3 tire will fit the R40?

Default R40 2004 spec

Did HPI ever come out with a 2004 spec car or a pro car for thr R40? If so, where can you get one? In the US or international?

Thanks!

Look back a few pages and you will see that HPI released a R40 2004 Spec. Only available in Japan.
