Actually, I remember running 50K front/30K rear diff oils in my Yokomo for parking lot races. Some others were running 100K or even diff lock in the front at large, high traction tracks. It really suprised me that the NTC3 diff settings were so light but it works. Oh well...whatever works I suppose.

There were more than 3 according to the setup sheet.

Another is the addition of 2 more gears to the diff.

Got my R40 kit today and was wondering something about the tires. Does anyone know what the shore ratings are them? I have found nothing in the instruction that tells me.

I believe I remember seeing in the example setup sheet for the R40 included with the manual in the kit. I thought it mentioned 45 shore front and rear. I may be wrong...

The tires are 37 shore. They are the same tires that come with the MTX3 kit (which I have one of those also).

The graphite upper deck is a standard part not an option.

The USA kit comes with 40/37. The Japan kit comes with 40/40
