Default MTX-3 receiver packs

i am currently using the 730 mAh mugen receiver pack in my mtx3 and i heard that some people were using a 1100mAh or 1200mAh rx pack. how do u guys fit that into the chassis? wat kind of batts are u guys using??

Default Receiver packs

Hey there ... the larger the capacity of the pack the more you need to drill out your chasis to fix it in. Let me tell you how its done ...

Seriously, the higher amps in the bigger batteries does not mean that the battery is LARGER. The battery size is the same (AAA) its just that they have bigger capacities.

I ve never seen AAA size batteries up to 1100Mah the biggest capacity I ve seen so far is 800Mah made by GP Battery.

I'm using Sanyo 5/4 AAA's which are 830mah.
Cheap...only about US$25
