Thumbs down SMOKE?

If you see smoke coming from under the heat sink, check the head bolts to make sure they are tibht. Somtimes after you run a new motor they need to be re-torqed.

Maybe you touched the head with an oily hand. If so, it could be the oil burning off the head.

2Hard2Handle,what's up with that loooooooooooooong url, dude.I've got a small monitor and i can't see the whole page when you post,LOL.

As for the running in try to get the temp up to 200F and run it for around 6-7 tanks fairly rich but maintaning the heat range and you should be alright, but please shorten that LINK of yours.

What exactly do you mean "running it against the wall"?

Everyone has a method they swear by,i personally have never taken any more then 6-7 tanks after idling the first on my nova motors,If you want a general idea for running in engines and good advice, check out http://www.parisracing.com/tipspage.htm
