I still race my MTX2 . Do quite well with it. however, that is only because I can't buy an MTX3... too much money on tires and other stuff beside rc ( ).

The MTX2 is still very capable, even if it is a little behind.

yes the MTX-2 is very capable,

expecially when someone like Im2Lazy is behind the wheel

btw,
nice driving this past race kyle,
you really are taking the turns tighter than everyone at the track

Thanks me43,
But if I had a 5 port turbo engine for mod class, boy, I'd be a lot closer... (why does the world run on money, why not something I've got more of)

I personally run in 2 classes, so even when I get an MTX3 (or other vehicle from the future), I will still race this or have this as my backup car for the two classes.
Unless you need to sell this vehicle in order to acquire your next one, I would, personally, suggest holding on to it.

Meee ...

Who would be running an MR12... Wes?

And yeah, mod is crazy fast. When you are even slightly underpowered like me, you got to be balls to the wall. The power and traction are crazy... lap times are sometimes 1 second faster! It is sure fun, but when your car isn't working, you will get left behind fast.

don't wanna support FastTire, eh? hmm... lemme rephrase, want to give yourself a more variety of tire choices and brands? he he he... I'll look for them, by the way. Stay tuned.

A tad too ex-pensive for me, not too heathly on my wallet thou,
but what the heck.. RC never been cheap..
Fact is I tried Speedminds, Frewer's, Ellegi's and Arrows,
all 0.000mm offset..
Frewer's sucks...
Ellegi's and Arrows works.. (GRPs)...
Speedminds the best wear rate.

The above are my findings.. not applicable to others..

by the way thanks in advance..

Vinyard, I love my speedminds. Fastest foam I've used (and used a lot). On the MTX2, you need those wheel spacers period. Otherwise the drive train binds because the drive hex is machined out so deep at the drive pin. I had no problem finding those things, when I needed to.
