Default Best pullstart engine

Ok I just stuffed the GS15r in my V-OneS but want to stay with a pullstart for now I think

options it seems are

OS12 CV-RX
Novarossi CX12PS2
RB Concept C12

and theres the JP CX12 pullstart but im not sure if ill bother with that

does anyone have experience with any of these?

OS12 CV-RX

a very reliable engine with reliable pullstart

you dont want the pull start to be breaking
or else it would be very bothersome

i got 6.5 gallons through an os cvrx12
without a rebuild , or anything , that engine
was awsome it was easy to tune and the pullstart
lasted the whole time never broke a cord or anything
os may not be the fastest but the cvr is not that slow
either and as far as dependability and ease of tuning you
can not beat os. end of story

I agree. While the CVR doesn't have the top end of a Nova or RB, the low and midrange is hard to beat. Geared correctly or on a short track, it will run with a MT12 (on the LOW end, remember). I put the .15 CVRX in my LD3 and when it hit second, I wasn't getting passed (my gearing was a bit off for teh track in 1stgear)

that is very true

and plus, if you are a beginner, that engine will be the most rewarding

it is not as sensitive to temperature changes and therefore, does not require as tuning, which is great for beginners

and O.S build and quality is just superb

don't get me wrong, i dont dislike novarossi engines, I/ myself run a Nova based engine and love it.

Just that O.S makes great , reliable engines with ample power, if that is what you are looking for.

Hmmm the CVR sounds pretty good, our track is pretty small, think the straight is about 50mtrs. the rest is mostly technical

I am looking for a rear exhaust engine but must be pull start for class rules...
