rookie tire truer question
I have a team magic or hard tire truer. I really have clue how to use it. I run 1/10 nitro sedan and need to cut some foams. I have the arbor and the stick packs, just dont know how to set it up to true the foams or to measure them. Sorry for the dumb question

?
Ok Ill try to explain by cutting the tires within 2mm apart it will be as close to 4 wheel drive meaning if you cut the front tire at 58mm and 60mm for the back tires you will be at almost perfect 4 wheel drive ...depending on tire wear if you run 5 mins.for quall.figure how much tire wear you have...
In the track that I run 5 mins gives me about 1 1/2 mm wear so I true my tires at 56mm front and 58mm back by the time I run the main wicth last about 20 mins I set my tires at 59 front 61 back by the end of the main Ill be at 2mm less but if you want more front wheel drive meaning more steering make the front tires a little bigger in size...but then you get in a hole differnt thing about this ...

Here is a link to an article on Xtreme RC Magazine's web site that will help. It will make even more sense after the guys at the track get you started.
