Yes--nice investigative work by the way.

Does something look out of wack?

Default Batteries

Nate you just need some more juice, your batteries were a little weak as were mine when we put it on my box. A new motor is easy to get stuck at TDC with virtually any standard stick packs. Once the motors loosens up a little it will not be so bad. Mine has old matched 3600's with what was high voltage at the time from my TC and I could use some new batteries for my box.

Make sure that the two Belts on the motors are not to tight. If they are they will make the wheel hardto turn and not spool up. I had this isue with mine the first time.

Is this the motor you are talking about?

Yes, that is a good option. For sure the V2 concept will give a longer life and so on a longer time les power loss.

I picked up a couple of SMC's 4200's.....I will try that and if that doesn't work then I will upgrade the motors.
