Thanks for the info....I plan on being there.

Next question....do we use the entry form at rcprosites.com to register ahead of time?

Spork,

The rules for the GT class are the same as what the Midwest series is running. They can be found on their website, or, for anyone else interested, here they are:
1/8 GT Class Rules

* Any 1/8 buggy based on-road car. (Kyosho Inferno GT, OFNA GTP, etc.)
* Rubber tires
* Sport .28 or smaller, buggy/truggy engine. Including; Axial .28, Force .28, Kyosho .28, Infinity .28, Mach .26. All these engines are inexpensive and readily available.
* Sports car or touring car bodies.
* If you have an engine in mind, that is not listed here, you must clear it with me before running. If it is in the same price and performance class, I will likely allow it.

These rules will be reviewed at the end of season, and altered as need be to maintain the spirit of the class.

If you have any other questions, please let us know.

Thanks

Exhibition - means that the GT class is not an official ROAR class with any ROAR rules. So we are making it up as we go, just like everyone else that is running the 1/8th GT cars.

The planned rules that we will follow were posted earlier.

GT main or mains will be 15 minutes long. Max. of 14 GT cars will be allowed in the A-Main.

As a side note. -Exhibition-
RC Car Magazine will be on hand for an artical - write up covering the GLC event. They are also planning a seperate artical about the 1/8th GT cars.

DJ,

The most preferred would be Detroit Metro (DTW). You can get much cheaper rates flying into DTW instead of Toldeo. Travel time from DTW and Toledo race track is about 1 hour.

An added note, most freeways that were under major construction seem to be open and fairly smooth traveling from DTW to the Toledo track. In past years, there were construction detours, but not anymore.

Hope this help!

I already started looking at DTW, you are correct about the cheaper flights. I am just waiting to see how cheap and if Ronnie is going with me.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The July 7th deadline is drawing near. Make sure to get your entries in prior to this date so that you avoid the late fee.

My mail box has been empty the last couple days and I hear that there are people that still haven't sent theirs in. Make sure to do so ASAP.

We look forward to seeing everyone in Toledo.

We are on 4 1/2 weeks away. Keep the countdown going!!!!!!
