Back on the subject of kyosho,i'm looking to get a voneR,do you guys think it would hang with the mtx3 and serpents for a while to come or should i just fork out the extra cash on a vone evo?

i would suggest if you have a little more patience to wait for some test reports before you get the RR Evo kit. This is what i would do..

If you look at the pics from the top of both heads,its clear in my oppinion that the mtx 3 is lower

Thanks for the advice i might wait a couple weeks and see what peoples thoughts are and by then maybe the evo will also be available locally.

i cant tell just from the pic alone as i am not sure if both are the same engine make.

Assuming they are different brands they have simular amount of fins and also look at the hieght of the roll bars.The mtx has extremely low engine mounts.

judging from the upper decks of both car, i believe the Mugen has a lower CG of all.

I would not have taken you for a "my car won the worlds" type of guy. Oh well

If you judge the CG by how many big race wins the car has then the NTC3 has the lowest CG.

The EVO engine mounts are now as low as the Mugen ones, I think the engine in the Kyosho is just an overall taller motor.

if look carefully you should realise the EVO had a option oversize head on it.
