I been running 220 for few weeks without rear floating mount on NT1. So far so good.

I was told the Knack version for VOne R works on Nt1 but never seem one. Will check it out this weekend at track if not raining. Some guys have them here

Rear floating mount from Knack, is it really necessary for an average racer? Will it make much difference lap times...? Is it really worth getting the Knack or is the Kawahara kit adequate enough.

IMHO, it probably won't make a difference however it depends on the track layout too. Try without first, it (lola shell) should already work better than touring in terms of aero.

Yes, that they do!
With the 200mm lola, the difference is noticeable.
On larger fast tracks, the difference is even larger, so with the 220mm kit the speed should test out our reflexes!

Hi

I would go with 37s. As they are wider you can use softer tyres than you would on a touring car.

I used mine for 1 full meeting and still had enough dia left for another meeting.

Cheers

37s would be ideal.
The kit comes with the 37s i believe.
Pro Shop Futaba have them for a good price on kit and also bodies, tyres etc.

You need to e-mail pro shop futaba people, and ask what you want ( give them part number & part description ). In return, they will e-mail back the part availability and price.

Payment usually bank transfer ( TT ) and paypal. Credit cards will take one or two weeks for bank clearance ( Japanese banks imposed tough safety check against cc fraud ).
