just installed the evo2 dogbones on rear
does anyone have the stock setup? need to restart my car.
edit: just found the stock rrr basic setup on the kyosho website.. it says rear 200mm with 2mm offset rims.. now i got evo2 bones, that mean i can run 202mm rear with 0 offset rims?

I don't think so. It means 200mm WITH 2mm offset rims.
With Evo2 bones and 0mm offset wheels it should be 200mm total. What do others think?

of course it's 200mm overall.

200mm is a ROAR maximum width. If you run the front more narrow than the rear you will get more steering, so if you are at 200mm front you can drop to 198mm rear to lose steering more or less but usually I am 198mm front and 199-200mm rear.
The evo2 dogbones with 0mm offset wheels change the geometry of the rear roll center because you have to unscrew the pivot balls and the camber link. I personally can't explain it, so I have to try 0mm and 2mm at every track and see what produces lap times because the wheel has its own feel, and then the roll center difference has its own as well.

pretty much everything fits, I run the half height KO 2413's since they are 10g lighter each than other servos. the ko 2367 and 2368 are both good, the odd numbered ko servos are all high speed and the evens are high torque. unique to ko is the software, if they are under stress and take a sudden hit they will actually reduce power output to avoid breaking the servo.

Myself, have the Hitec High Voltage servos with a lightweight lipo rx pack.
Haven't run on track yet but the latest R/C Car has a review of those (well it's the torque model, I have the speed model of those two versions).
I just finished installing the front spool VZW220; it seems lighter than the front diff with a lot less rotational mass and spins slightly better I think than the diff.
It will be exciting to get this Evo 2 on the track once it opens (still feels like forever).
edit: My Evo 2 weights now 1667gr with used tires ........... tank empty w/o transponder which adds like 10-15 grams

My Evo is in the cold
By the time I finish my Evo it will be winter here and no indoor tracks insight, so I will have to wait.
I here you on the set up and I'm sure the way to go. I am kind of new at this so I will stick with the diff for now, till my driving gets better. I am a little up in the air about the servos though. Not sure if I should go high voltage and Lipos yet. I guess I would save weight overall.
I picked out the orion servos if I go Nimh, but have not looked into the high voltage hitecs yet.
Do you have any part numbers.

I run the Orion Vortex blue ones (VDS-1007) 10kg/0.07 (6.0V) on my MP9 buggy, both steering and gas/brake. They should be fine for the RRR, too.

In sedan you want all the weight low in the car, so run nimh. if you run lipo you just have to run a brass battery tray for 50-70 grams to make up the difference. the battery/tray is in the absolute best place for weight in the car because it has the least effect on the cars rotation and the most effect on the center of gravity. I personally use nimh and a 60g tray and barely get to 1725 with slim tires. And I would still use KO's 2413's.

I got a direct email from KO Propo USA that the 2413 was NOT suited for nitro use, and would not be covered by warranty (after blowing one on my throttle).
They suggest that this is only an electric car servo (no heatsink, low torque, etc).
