Default Where is everybody????

Looks like there's no much action lately on this thread...

here is a picture of my new power plant, is the JP First line-Black Version 2009
I like the new heatsink design over the old one... the internals, I'm not a 100% sure, but looks like some parts changed (part numbers in the exploded view are different from previous version)

Hope it will be ready for the Tornado Challenge
I'm planning to do the break in tomorrow at the track, but I will take my time to do it...

Hey Guys,
Does any one have a reasonable set up (to share) for a low grip bitumen track, I have way too much understeer with very little turn in. Also how many of you guys gone away from the optional sway bar back to the standard wire sway bar?
Thanks.

If you are talking about the rear sway bar, I have been running the wire bar almost since I built the car.

In regards to the adjustable rear bar and the wire bar, is it normal for the belt to be rubbing on the adjustable blue sway bar unit ?

hey, its not normal for the rear swaybar to be rubbing against the belt... what you need to do, is loosen a bit on the 2.5mm screws that hold the rear sway bar in...this allows some play on the sway bar. I assume you must of screwed down the screws all the way in tight or firm tight....

Beers yes I have, well it's all the way down, the sway bar does move but I am getting alot of belt rub on the blue sway bar unit, it's actually got a groove in it now from the rubbing.

I'll get some pictures to show this. From the manual it really does not show clearly how the seating should be.

I had the belt rub on my adjustable swaybar as well, but I really don't think it's hurting anything. If you leave the swaybar loose it's not going to function properly...

I dremeled the adjustable sway bar on the bottom to clear the rear belt. You don't want the belt to be rubbing.

I also experienced the rubbing. I tightend my rear belt. Problem solved. Also, after racing this car for about 6 months. I found that the rear belt wears faster than the front. Has anyone else experienced this?

I also found that if you run the rear belt to loose it will wear out the 21T rear pulley faster. And those can be hard to find at times

What's the difference or usage of the VZ201-1 Kyosho Front Knuckle Arm (King Pin angle 1 Degree) vs the original 0 degrees?

The 1 degree knuckle arms will give you more steering coming out of the trun but a little less trun in steering
