I believe that Robert (Ashford) has them as well and I know Kyosho would rather it be purchased from a hobby shop. No big deal to me.

could someone tell me what diff grease or oil is used in the rear diff that comes stock in the kit?

Half the time I order from shopkyosho.com, it ships from a hobby shop anyway. they just peel their own label mostly off and ship it out.

I believe 30K.....

And BTW Scott, I just got off Ashford's site, (spent $150 on consumables) and VZ228 not in stock, not trying to be a PITA, just figured this guy might waht a chassis sooner rather than later,,,,

If you have a RRR or RRR Evo it is 30k Diff, 500 shocks.

If you have the RRR Evo 2 it is 20k Diff, 400 shocks.

Most of us where going with 20k in the diff. 600 in the shocks. Some I beleive where going 600front/800rear. I went 600 all the way around.

Rear
20,000 oil for the diff
4 drop
roll center position-stock
track width-200mm
5mm of ride height
light blue springs in second position from bottom
600wt oil
3 toe in on each side
4.5 camber and
stock sway bar, I used 2.0
tires-42 twister

This is what I used for the classic. I was able to turn a 15 5:13 qual 12th overall

hey chay what length do you run your front and rear shocks? Also where do you measure your droop setting from, i was told to measure from the nub on the rear arm.

I go by what the manual states for length. Then when I adjust my drop if the arm drop father than the shock I will lenghthen the shocks so that it won't effect the drop. I measure drop from the bottom of the upright just like the hudy manual states. Hope that helps!
