I never said there would not be a WC edition. I have no idea if there will be or not. I would think that there would be some sort of upgraded version at some point. Maybe they can win the worlds and bring one out.

I am not sure of a conversion kit. There is a possibility. I would not rule it out since there are so few parts.

Few part though do not equal major changes as this car drives much different from the previous car. I think everybody will find that the car enters and finishes he corner better than the EVO 1.

Tip #1 Put the set up on the car that you are use to and that you are comfortable with and take out 15% dual rate. Now fine tune the car without touching the DR. Only add some as a last resort.

Ahh sorry to misquote you then, we must have been talking about today and the near term rather than the rest of the future because who can really say that either way. I'm sure even Kyosho Japan has no road map set in stone yet.

Didn't mugen win the last worlds in 06? Maybe we will see a WC edition soon regardless of a win, maybe converting the old cars is easier too as I am close to needing a chassis anyway with so few other parts since I run a different servo saver to begin with. Either way my kit is on backorder when kyosho america gets them :P

With the more narrow components, but then the thicker components it seems hard to say on weight but you can get all of these cars to 1725 pretty easily so I wouldn't worry about it being too much different.

Anybody has a good idea what are the necessary upgrades for the EVO2?

From what i see, Alu wheel hubs (7 or 8mm?), CVDs? Graphite front shock tower?

Who or what manufacturers to go for? Kawahara? Knack? 3Racing? Others?

Building mine, still in progress... D', for me i still keep it as my WCE before.. minimum upgrade... but keep the most important like - UJ/CVD and One piece mounting ( Mine Kyosho ). Flexi upgrade - Kawahara rear blade swaybar, bearing for those collars and the Kyosho Front Graphite shock tower and Kyosho option 1st Spur housing.
