It was more of a question of how the different diaphragms act in terms of rebound and overall feel.

Hey,Brandon
I have a question about the 2 degree off set on the evo-wc.What are the effects of this and what was the purpose of the design. this is my new car and just was looking for some feedback.some guys are telling me to run 0 degree off set tires. what are your thoughs.thanks in advance

Oh my...what did you hit or what hit you. I take it you did not have the the body one!?!?

After closer review, I'm thinking run-away car that went under something. Let me know if I'm getting warm!

Traxx4......the off set just gives the car a wider stance for better handling. Its like having 28 mm tires without the added weight. You can use this if you want to run the 235 Lola bodies for your 1/10 car, but you'd be better off just putting the wider tires on at that point, since the downforce of the body will utilize the wider tires better. Anyone else with input on wheel/hub off sets?

We talked about it a page or two ago, basically 0mm or 2mm your car is still limited to 200mm total because you have to screw in the pivot balls for 2mm or out for 0mm. It's about where the tire and axle have leverage on the geometry that changes.

All manufacturers use 0mm rears except kyosho tried 2mm for a short while, I have never really been able to figure out the real difference using tires but 0mm and 2mm except that it feels better on high traction tracks.. nothing dramatic to me though and nothing to switch out your stock of parts or tires for. Your choices for 2mm tires are basically Kyosho and Twister as far as I know, I don't think anybody else does 2mm.

This car is not mine, it's a friend. The track is bad, made from the school playground. The car drove under the railing. Very big crash...

With GRP's plant burning down, I hope they get everything going again soon to refill the distributors.

Yes indeed.

BTW, I replaced the steel pillow balls with Ti ones, substantial weight reduction. Now I'm also thinking of replacing the nimh batt with a lipo. What do you recommend for one? Regulator, too

I run Matrix’s tires and they have a zero deg off set rim and a 2 deg off set Kyosho style rim. I have tried them both and really couldn’t tell the different. I will test more at the GLC race in Ohio..
