OK, I have another question for everyone. How many people have converted to the X-Ray tank? I'm tring to decide just because I have had issues with the Kyosho tanks. and I know if I wouldn't get hit or hit a wall at mach 4 I would be having the issues......

I hate having this much free time, I want to go racing........ darn wedding.

Has anyone ran the 2 degree front knuckles(uprights)? What did you think about them? Are they better for low or high bite tracks? Entry, mid or exit cornering?

What issue are you having with the Kyosho tank? In 2.5 years I am on my 3rd tank.

Default tank

no problems here either. only changed tank to find it was the motor. process of elimination. also make sure you don't tighten it to much it should be a little loose.

I went 3 seasons on the original tank, then last season I went through 3 tanks. The seam along the rear of the tank is where I would get leaks, and I do use rubber grommets.

blount, I run 2 degree. I think it gives you more steering out and less going in.

FYI, I'm missing this weekend because of the parental units. Don't you have a series to go wing again? Or ice fishing.......

Looks interesting. Is there any noticeable difference performance wise in the car or is it just cosmetic?

I set my eyes on one of these

It has been over 2 years since I built mine so I am sure I am forgetting some stuff: Get two rear shock towers, and glue them together. Run that doubled up version on your car. I also use RTV blue to seal my diffs. Some people say they never have leaking issues, but mine did so now all my diffs are sealed with RTV. When screwing the rear shock tower to the car, use a very long screw. When attaching the rear camber link to the rear hub carrier, use a longer screw than what the manual says. If I remember more I will say and my guess is that others will chime in as well.

The only thing i noticed when i changed the car feels more consistent and balanced as you can drop the nt1 tank down like 6 to 7mm
