After seeing NT1 2012 upper plate I'm thinking about cutting the one on my WCE.R4 diffs haven't arrived yet so can't tell how they fit but in the mean time changed some screws like the R4 to smaller ones,3x8mm max and some places 3x6mm waiting for more screws and new custom hollowed middle shaft expecting about minimum 15grams reduction.

Default The RRR epic win!

Today all parts have arrived including R4 diff cases.
1st:vz403 are the new updated diff cases!RRR oneway pulley fit so doesn't need vz402 pulley set for front diff.
2nd:R4 front diff fits the RRR!it's just a hair too wide that makes installation a bit difficult but a little cursing and voila it's in a new home using RRR eccentrics and bearings using a custom sleeve so it can fit inside RRR's bearings.
3rd:rear diff is slimmer,about a mm each side,no biggie use a shim.

WOOHOOO!!!

Front oneway outdrives didn't even enter R4 front diff case.Did 2 separate orders,if the cases were ok then outdrives and gears were next and that order I'm still awaiting arrival.

Hello everybody:

For those of you who are thinking about what to do with your excelent, but old fashioned RRR, here you have an idea to "electrify it".
It┤s in Spanish, but it has lots of quite interesting pictures.

http://nuke.turboracingrc.es/Hibrido...2/Default.aspx

In this video, the white car (followed by the camera) is a RRR converted into electric, and at it won the 30 minutes final race.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=cZfNUNWpLcs.

The car has been named "HÝbrido" in Spain, and is able to race against gas cars with gas rules, thanks to it┤s fast change battery sistem. The car is powered by a 4 poles motor and 14,8v/3300mAh LiPo batteries.

Hope you like it.

Hello again:

Another interesting video, but now with 11,1V batteries and in a shorter track. All three leading cars where "HÝbridos", two RRR and the yeyow one a NT1.
Excuse me, i forgot the link:

Hello:

Well, yes, it┤s available. In Spain we have no less than 40 cars running. It started as a personal project that growed and growed up till being so successfull that all drivers who saw it wanted one. As you can imagin, it┤s hand made (whith a CNC milling machine) in a garage, so if someone want one, it should be ordered directly to the "inventor": [email protected] , and paid by Paypal.
In Spain the aluminium kit costs 95€ + shipping, and the carbon kit costs 150€ and includes both the aluminium and the carbon chassis.
If you or anyone have any question and is not able to understand this page: http://nuke.turboracingrc.es/Inicio/...8/Default.aspx
feel free to ask me whatever question in this forum or by private message.

Another video that shows the quick battery change: http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&fe...&v=5tWX21DAz1M.
