Thanks for the quick reply...just to confirm,,

Are you using the old clutch shoe and holder with the new 2nd spur gear (version C)?

Would you say that the shifting is just as smooth, worse, better? different adjustments?

Thanks!!

is there a big difference over the shimo shocks?

i know there is a big difference in smoothness compared to the first generation RRR shocks vs the EVO/EVO2... i'v tried getting the old RRR shocks as smooth as the EVO/EVO2 but just cannot do it..

dont know why as the other difference between them is that the newer
-outside diameter is thinner.. but inside diameter is the same.
-shock body is slightly longer
-everything else is the same.

can someone tell me the difference between the FM622 and FM361 2nd speed shoe holder?

can you use the OLD FM361 with the new shoes?.. in the pics, they look like they are the same shape.. just a different part number.

the fm622 is from the evolva and matches with the C spur gears with the black looking inside

the fm361 matches the B spur gears with the aluminum looking inside.

i have used B and C gears on the fm622 on occasion and they felt the same. I used B and C gears on the fm361 and it seemed the same as well.

They are a different material so they have different adjustment points, the fm622 feels more like cheap plastic but seems to wear the same.

Will the 2 speed shoe fit with both FM622 and FM361 shoe holder?..

i installed the old plastic pulley/brake puller on my car to lower the rotation mass.. i wonder how long the plastic brake pulley will last..

at the moment my car is weighing between 1640g-1660g

i added;
YBSLOW batt plate = 42g - existing plate (9g) = 33g
30g lead weight on left side of car to balance out with right side. = 30g

The shoe holders are different and you should match the shoes to the proper holder

I didn't notice much of a difference. The 3racing titanium one is for the older shoes.

My experience:

The plastic 21Tooth pulley has never lasted me more than one 30 min heat. The teeth don't fail, but rather the pin (inside) breaks through the plastic from the first hole to the second hole, but generally, the second hole holds...not sure for how long because I would change it after every heat.

You are talking about the 21t brake pulley I assume? I ran those for months at a time without ever having a failure.

This is one of the few parts I'll agree on the wear with you, you seem to get much more life than I do out of every other part though.

the plastic brake pulley gear is good for ages for me, I don't really even check them.
