whats everyone preference on the clutch settings? smooth or late & agressive?

iv always had mine smooth.. but just gave it a little tweak now its engaging a lil later.. gunna see how it runs... although the smooth would prob be suited at the small/tight track,.

You kinda answered your own question. Match it to the track surface. You also have to setup the clutch to work with the engine you have.

Lil.. I'm sure you will notice if your clutch is engaging too late.. driving gets less smooth.

Yeah.. I'd say (with less experience) that a tight track requires MORE aggressive clutch setup, because you need to be able to accelerate fast from an apex to another.. less critical in larger tracks because the speed is maintained...

either one, 42 or 58.. both is going to be above 1725.. so i might just go 42.

Thanks LiL.. I paint it with cans (bottles) so considering it turned out pretty nice. The checkered flags were paint by usinjg Parma masks, they worked very well.

Hi guys, i have a quick question regarding the clutch on my car.

sometimes when the car warms up its it won't move, i can see the motor reving but its not getting any drive, its as if the clutch is slipping, its an intermittent problem.

i checked the clutch bell bolts and it seems to be tight, i bought the car second hand, is this a clutch issue? i haven't stripped it down yet to have a look and i've never played around with a clutch on an onroad car.

thanks.

It's not the clutch; it's the oneway bearing in your 2-speed that's slipping. Take it out and clean it. Should be fine then. Cheers
