I'm amazed to know some of you are still using the same picco glowplug.

How is the color of the coil ? Is it still shine ( wet looking ) ?

Can I use picco glowplug to novarossi or to OS engines ?

This chart clearly shows that there is no bottom end power at all! the power only starts to kick in at 22,000 RPM, by that time the JL is long gone.........!

True, there is no bottom end for the crf engine, i have it tested for so so many hrs and gallons, crf engine runs good on big track only, for smaller track, run the red dot.................

For the price and performance you can't go wrong with the Picco motors. I have run the Red dot versions I, II, and III and on each of these motors was able to go more than a gallon without changing the plug and they are all fasssttt. I just ran this last weekend at the Gulfcoast Grand Prix in Houston, Texas with my new Picco EVO III tuned version in my new Team Magic G4RS and it was a bullet. I'm still getting a handle on the setup for the car but it was my first time with it and the motor and was able to win the B-Main by more than 2 laps. Stripped gears in the A-Main. Maybe the tuned version has to much power??? Nah!! There is no such thing as to much power. Anyway, just my 2 cents.

You missed the point, i know the jl is a great motor, but the guy I quoted started throwing info around that wasn't true. So I posted that up to prove him wrong. I never once said the crf was a BETTER motor. You guys need to take a chill pill, this is really not that serious....

a modded os tz will be plenty fast. any of the motors mentioned in this thread is plenty fast.

A stock PICCO engine will definitely be faster than a modified OS TZ or even an OS SPEED engine.

The OS Speed Tuned Spec II is the second generation to the Original OS Speed Tuned TZ. The EB Mod TZ is a modified OS .12 tz. I would not worry about changing. Remember speed is good, controllable speed is better. As I said early; I like the smooth power band of the OS engines. The JLR was too punchy for my taste.

Look at that dyno again, see where the box is with the Analysis report? It states "BOX STOCK" to me, that sounds like, ran on the dyno straight out of the box with no mods. But thats just me.
Guys, like i said before, i'm not defending any one motor here. I saw a statement that wasn't true, and i posted that graph to show it wasn't a true statement. As much as the JL is a great motor, there are other motors out there that are just as good. If used correctly, the CRF is an awesome motor, so is the TZ, and every other well known brand. It's all personal taste.
