broken pullstarter
 

the pullstarter spring came out on my .21 engine a few days ago, and i cant get it back in. help?!?!

I've heard that it is near impossible to get the spring back in and its best just to buy a new one.

any idea how much a new pullstarter goes for?

I don't know much about pull starts myself.

that is totally not TRUE! i unwound the spring once and spend 10 mins putting it back together! it takes practice when your dealing with the spring!!

I'm just quoting what I hear all the time at the LHS where I work.

yea, thanx guys, i got the spring back in after 3 hrs. of slaving over it, and then i put it back together and the cord broke. i hate pullstarters.

convert to bump start then...ahha!
