Default Any tips for using a Orion Lap Counting System?

I have one and before I take it to the track I was wondering if I can get some advice or tips?

Tape the registering LED to ur window so it can shine its tracking system thru it. Make sure the led is pointing at the counter. and make sure u plug the transponder in correctly lol.

Use a piece of leaxn to hold the light, then attach that to your chassis somewhere so it can point out the side window. Put the timer limit up to it's max, 10 minutes so it doesn't stop counting laps before the battery or fuel is done. Set your minimum lap to 1 second under what fastest time is that you have done on track or anyone else and be aware that it might count your car early if there are parts of the track where the light in the car points towards the counter. So you might have to reposition or turn your counter.
