Who was the genius that thought up the qual points system. I thought the reason behind the qual points system was to eliminate happy hour and the one run wonders. Take a look at the scores, laps, times......Way to go ROAR. When will you all learn ? This has to be one of the biggest cluster [email protected]$Ks you have come up with yet.

The system does help with the "Rocket Round" problem. If you are the fastest in the fastest round or in the slowest round you still get zero points. You still have the one run wonder but at least this makes every round count. I think.

Any method there will be somebody complaining. I think this is a decent way to score in Gas racing. Electric is dumb, but the only people complaining are the ones not in the A.

I agree with shadow. It's the dumbest system I've seen to date. Look at the qualifing, there are a lot of slow ass people who have out qualified much faster drivers. What's totally mind blowing is if you put in a decent run when half the field breaks. It's actually possible to make the a-main and be a lap off the pace. Does that sound right to you?!

Works for me, it's kept me in the hunt because it rewards consistent driving. It gets rid of the rocket round because each round is separate in points.

They'll still get smoked in the mains. Remember the bump ups will let the fast guys stuck in lower mains move up.

Finals just finished:

Unofficial results:

1. ATSUSHI HARA (HPI R40)
2. BILLY EASTON (Associated NTC3)
3. JOSH CYRUL (Trinity G4)

Congrats to Hara and HPI, not bad for the first outing on the R40

Billy bumped up from the B Main to take 2nd.

Josh apparently had a flameout but still managed 3rd.
