Default Supports on 1/8th scale body

Are there specific places on a 1/8th scale body (Frizbee) where you attach the supports? This is my first 1/8 body and I can't find any directions as to the locations... There are three for each side... one double wide and two single wide .... Does one go behind the rear wheel? Do I just evenly space the three supports on the side? Does it matter where the thick support goes?

I hope this question is entertaining for some... I just want to do it right.... knowing that this probably won't matter once I get the engine running and hit something.

Thanks

If it is the standard weight body you really only need one in the center of the body on each side. If it is the lightweight body you should put 2 on each side in the center and one in the rear on each side.

I will run some laps on Wednesday, but I have had absolutely no time with this car (MRX-4R) and only plan on racing the IGT and 1/10th.

if someone doesn't post one by tomorrow night i will get a picture but you should have the idea already (avoid the pipe basically)

serpent makes some really good supports (buy 2-3 and keep reusing them)
the key one here is the wing support, it locks the wing to the side behind the wheel. the side supports and the rest are standard. part #1733 is just the wing supports.

http://www.serpent.com/product/1730

always mount with tape and rivets/screws.

I make my own from sheet lexan and use 1/8th rivets and washers to attach them. Basically I'm copying the ones that Mike Queller used to include with his Speedline bodies. I'll see if I can get a pic or two tomorrow.
