[QUOTE=Team Crash;4344623]JSpeed. hey looks local to you. Do me a favor, go around and take as many notes as you can ie gearing (where they got it, motors and such) this is awesome i would love to be able to come and watch this event. Also any possible interchangable parts, then PM me so i can screen what to put on this site LOL. SETUPS in general......I would have thought Kyosho would do some of this for us like they do on other cars???QUOTE]

Down here in Florida weíre racing the Kyosho Inferno GT Spec Class.

Without going into great detail, the rules are all cars must be IGT cars with the factory stock .28 engines, header/pipe combo and clutch type. Itís a level playing field for both new & seasoned R/C racers that are looking for a fast, fun, durable RTR car and more affordable on-road class to race in.

Itís a class intended for anyone that buys a Kyosho IGT car to open the box, make some set-up changes, race & have fun.

TeamCrash,

It is my feeling that the highly skilled drivers will not be attracted to this class. Some may. The breakout rule that will be implimented by the Cinci club, makes sense but only on a local level with a permanent track.
The way I see the class is two fold; to offer a less expensive race class and to attract more people into on-road racing. Racers experienced in off-road will be comfortable with the chassis design. Newcomers will benefit from the greater durabillity and somewhat slower pace.
It is my thinking that people running a 'spec' IGT class, will not be disadvantaged at our MWS races, or the local races at Cinci.

Shame about the darn weather!!
We'll have to start the season a week later.................... again. Lol

I'm intrigued by this class as I'm used to running nitro on rubbers although not two wheel drive.

Regards,
British Menace

Default Chassis Front Lip

If any one has a new GT or the ability to remove the bumper on it, could you please push chassis flat on the ground and see just how high the aluminum front lip is off the ground.

I have crashed mine so many times and trying to get the ANGLE back to it's original as close as possible.

Getting a new chassis seems next to impossible right now. any help would be great. With a new improved (LONGER) chassis do out soon i would also hate to get a new one, only to upgrade when Kyosho decides to produce the new one.

Thanks.
