Default newbie help

I'm new to this so what is the best car for under 400? Which is better to get the rtr or the non rtr? I was thinkin of gettin the nitro tc3 rtr is that a good car or not?

yes, the rtr is a fairly good car ,but i suggest getting the kit because in the future you will be replacing almost everything with hop ups.The rtr remote sucks ,but is still usable. the rtr engine is good, but needs more power so buying the kit will save u money.

What kind of remote should i buy? What size of engine should i get? What all does the non rtr kit come with?

hah, i was in same position as u, but i dont want rtr, kit is da way to go... im getting the os tr engine... dunno which radio yet
