There was a post earlier about why Losi wouldn't announce it - that it would stop sales of their present car. . .except that THEY DON"T HAVE a present car, therefore that argument doesn't have any validity.

I'll believe it when I see it.

I don't think that seeing Gil Jr or Rosetti racing Mugens or whatever is any proof that Losi is making a Nitro car. . .

You should qualify that as 3 wheels and a body. The fourth, somewhere on the end-of-straight sweeper.

Sorry to be the bringer of bad news, but Losi scrapped the Losi nitro tourer. Trust me, I got good sources.

Losi has had a hard time making a decent touring car. The XXXS is ok but not a big hit like the TC3 is.I wonder about them trying to make Nitro touring.

fastharry, Love the location, and the quote in your signature:

I agree, but I am slightly biased

"IF" Losi is planning on coming out with a cas car, they have some great test pilots. Ron and Gil Jr. both drove their butts off at the ROAR Fuel nats in august. PLUS...There's this kid named Paul that's running form them again now too. It'll be interesting to see what happens with the Losi/Trinity drivers and who drives which chassis. This is of course "IF" Losi comes out with a 1/10th scale sedan and not a 1/18th scale car...

All I know if Losi comes out with a gas tourer, that it will be awesome like all there other products that they have come out with.I love my Serpents but given the track record that Gil and Ron have with the release of there products and testing that the Losi camp puts into something I'll be running Losi again.Ive raced Losi since almost the inception in electric and I know the quality of there products Id be sold with no problem! No Questions asked!

what does that mean?....You won't have to wait for the second edition grahite nitro car that won't break arms like the first edition?

Don't flame me..I run a xxx kinwald & converted street weapon into rally car..(and have 2 serpents,an r40,2 tc3 nitros etc,etc)...

If there's one thing that sticks in my mind with losi(after buying 100 rc cars and 10 years in the hobby...)..

Don't buy the first edition car.....(not the xxx4,not the single belt wonder touring car, etc)

I don't think they ever test their cars enough....And not just them, but all companys..

This is true. Losi and AE should nut it up and start using some real plastic like Schumacher, then, it's all good.

hahaha. Losi nitro would be nice, but the likelyhood of that is slim. They have no chasis whatsoever to base it on. If they were to make one, I would get it, having bought the XXX-S and the Mini-T. Strangely enough, I haven't had that much breakage problem with arms and such, and I have a 1st gen XXX-S! My bet, however, is a mini xxx-s. Seeing the success they had with the mini-t, and seeing the spark the M18 caused (I have one, worlds better than the micro rs4), they could make a nice profit shrinking that.

But a Nitro would be nice. Until then, it's the LD3 and the R40 for me...
