OK, I use my new DX3R today and not only was I completely impressed but so were others at the race. The first big thing that everyone noticed was how light it is, then the response time for digital servos was great. I got it dialed in during the practice and the quals and now it already feels natural. Glad I waited!!!!

Extreme rc just did a review and it was all thumbs up! The only complaint was no back lighting. www.rc411.com click on under the scope.

I heard that comment about "no backlight" also, but after using the radio, it was very apparent to me that there was no need for it. The screen can be be seen very easily.

No big deal to me either. I had to race an 1/8th scale final on a poorly lit track once. I have NO plans to try that again...

Just a hint about the clarity without a backlight..... be sure and remove the the protective film off of the screen. It really helped me . hehehe....

Not that anyone else would forget.

Talked to our shop manager today, he has sold all five of the DX3R's that he got in in less than one week. WOW
