My .02 cents worth....

Less bandwidth = less operating costs

Less bandwidth = slower speeds

Slower speeds = more unhappy visitors

More unhappy visitors = less participation and visits

Less participation and visits = unhappy advertisors

Unhappy advertisors = less advertisors

Less advertisors = bye bye forum!

Please don't let this happen

Guys... I read on a message yesterday as I was navigating through the forum. That it was being changed through a different server. What this means is: they are moving all of these threads and files from one computer to another. Which MEANS that if the server is moving files from its hard drive to another removable device, our "lag" will increase by alot until the forum is completely moved. Now, 99% of the time you see "we are having a server change", it means its moving to a new and better server. Which means, in a few days or weeks tops (i believe) the lag will decrease or even dissappear and you'll navigate through the forum even faster. I hope this is resolved very soon because like you guys, Im tired of waiting 10 minutes to reply or check new posts in the threads.... Take care.
