Default Mounting bigger block engines in mtx-4r or v1rrr

Pardon my possibly stupid noob question.

I have two kits, namely the mtx-4r and the kyosho v1rrr. I am using a OS 12TZ on my mugen currently and have a spare .15 sized engine lying ard. Being a cheapskate who does not wish to buy a new .12 engine, I am wondering if I can get mounts for either the mugen or kyosho to fit my spare and spanking new .15 sized engine.

is it possible to fit one in the first place? my .15 engine can squeeze into the engine bay of the kyosho but obviousy the current mounts will not fit the mounting holes on my engine. can i buy a .15 mount for the kyosho? likewise for the mugen?

I can't tell you if you can find a mount to fit, but I can tell you both cars use interchangeable engine mounts. If you find one that fits either car, it should fit both cars.

Default Bigger block

Scott is correct.
I use the same one piece engine mount for my MTX4R, and in both my RRRs.
The 15 engine should have the same size dem. as the 12.
So if you want, you could use a Kyosho mount in the Mugen with either a 12 engine, or a 15 engine.
You ust would not be able to run the 15 engine in a race, other than maybe a club race.

also noticed that the engine mount is interchaneable... in fact i find the design of the two cars almost the same and suspect more parts can interchange...

upon inspection, i think i can just remove my engine from my mugen with the flywheel, clutch and pinion and just drop the whole unit in the v1rrr... might not even need an extra engine if the swopping is really that simple...

just make sure it's not a "Big Block" .15. The kind that has the same mounting locations as a .21.
