Default NTC3 chassis question

Here is something that caught my attention....
# Product Description: Silver anodized.
# This lightweight, fully countersunk 3.5mm chassis is made from aerospace grade 7075-T6 aluminum and it weighs only 5.5 ounces, 25% lighter than the stock. It is stiffer and lighter than the Hardcore Racing Titanium chassis for NTC3, which is only .080" thick..
# This is the strongest and lightest chassis you can get for the NTC3 or TC3!
# Front and rear ends are beveled to prevent any bottoming out.

can this chassis really be "stiffer and lighter than the Hardcore Racing Titanium chassis"?

yeah your right...think i will just stick with the fioroni that i have comeing. its still 4mm but machined out to be lighter and i think it sits some other components lower in the chassis

well, for the cost that i got it for, it's a better alternative to the stock 3mm chassis. And i can't justify spending any more then what i did for a ntc3 part...
Guess i'll see how the thing works out here as soon as i get it in.

So how did you like that chassis?

Is that the Team Blue Star chassis?

It did it's job, was nice and stiff. It did well.
I no longer have the NTC3 though, moved on to the Mugen camp.

Thumbs up ntc3

i picked up a bluestar chassis for my ntc3 and it is way better than the original associated chassis although it is thicker with some pretty nifty cut outs to reduce weight its still a stiff platform with no flexing .
