you engine might be running too lean..

take the engine apart, rebuild it, inspect all pieces

set carb settings back to factory, then tune it from there

maybe the problem will be solved.

could be your clutch bell bearings are shot......

also check your gear mesh.might also b ur manifold coming loose.

I couldn't resist... uh, maybe the idle is too high? Set your idle at 1mm and then start your car. If the idle is still too high then your bottom end is likely too lean. The bottom/low end needle is your idle mixture as well so look there first. The one thing to keep in mind is if your top end is too lean that could ad to the confusion of the tune.

What kind/size motor is this?
