Hi everyone,

I was wondering what battery packs you're running in the velox? 1600mah NIMH's seem heavy at around 112g, but does anyone use LIPO batteries of around the same capacity with a regulator?

For example, the Xceed 1300mah LIPO : http://xceedrc.com/product/105001/

Also, has anyone got any experience with the radioplate stiffeners or the "radioplate tuning" parts?

Thanks.

So now i can drive it harder and faster knowing that If I break it no one will get mad at me ..( Chris )..lol. I would like to say thanks to everyone for all the love yesterday...sorry for the late response but our DSL was acting up...which means no internet...but good to go now..lol

Thanks.

We use the regular 1400 mah nimh cells we need the weight and where else would you want it but all the way down for CG and also centered in the chassis.

LOL....There was a 1 in a 1,000,000 chance that a car would blow over and slide into that little piece of steel sticking out of the ground. I guess you were just that unlucky "1" that day. LOL

XSPOWER who is the importer is out of Florida and I know of a couple shops here in California that do mail order and stock a ton of the parts.
