Yeah they are coming out with stuff faster then we can order the parts. We have them on order they should be here in a week or so. Depending on the Storm situation at hand down here. Also the new swaybars are in and are being shipped out to the dealers as we type this.

Velox TQ at the FEMCA 2008 On Road in Malaysia 26th -30th Aug.
Total 3 Velox made the A main ( including me ).

I believed Meen, the TQ driver, only finished building the car 1 day before official practice and still getting use to the car during qualifiers. For me this is my first 1/8 and the car was very easy to set up.

I used the Euro Conversion and 2.6mm Rear Sway bar. Added 110 grams of Weight and put the Largest insert on the tank to pass the tech inspection.

you need to watch out for the pulleys after crash as they may bend and caused the belts to strip... if you crash as much as I did... I made some alloy pulley for testing and work quite well so far.

I being using the Xceed body but I may switch to the Central body... after my buddy beat me with it!

The brake system works really well.

I switched to Mugen yellow clutch shoe but rest of the people seems to be fine using standard black. There is a white and Grey coming out I think.

Next big race will be the Picco Cup Hong Kong in Nov. Will see the Big boys from Shepherd , Picco's and the Fresh World Champ.

Lately I've been noticing a big problem with the pulley under the manifold. the shaft spins inside and causes the pulley to become egg shaped. I have replaced the pulley several times already, and the same thing happens after a day of running. I've even tried putting the pully on with CA glue, but that doesn't help either. Anyone have any suggestions...

I'm thinking about putting a mugen adapter and pulley. I checked the mugen manual, and it looks the same. Does anyone know if the 2 speed shaft diameter is the same as shepherd's?? if it is, it should work.

Thanks

Since you like putting MUGEN parts in your car, you should just switch to a MUGEN, after all MUGEN cars are proven strong and very reliable.

I do run Mugen but by your plan I should switch to Serpent since my Mugen does have one Serpent part on it.

Do I know you???

That's not what I asked by the way, but thanks anyways... I like running the velox it just has a few flaws.

AND I just checked, they are both 6mm, so it should work.
