Default MT-12's head with 11 fins

I got an MT 12 in a trade[new] that I just noticed that the aluminum head is taller than the other racers MT 12's. Is there a reason this one has 11 fins or they do come with 11 fins. The other guys had 9 or 8 fins I think.I didn't get a box with it but a MT 12 manual.

Since you got it in a trade, best bet would be that the previous owner installed the optional 11fin head.

Its probably an off-road version, off-road versions tend to have larger heads because they get less airflow because they move at lower speeds.

That's the "big head" version. They sold some with the head stock from the factory. There's something else different (compared to the original MT12), but I don't remember what it was.

Thats an MT .12 Buggyhead. The stroke is slightly longer which provides more torque at the slight expense of rpm. They`re awsome motors on tighter tracks.

Uh no!

It's an MT 12 TR. Truck head. Same engine, taller head.
