Exclamation Traxxas Nitro 4-Tec

Last week I bought a Traxxas Nitro 4-Tec .15 for $123.00 for shipping and everything on Ebay. I have a question about it, Does It Use The Same Parts As The 4-Tec 2.5 and the 4-Tec 3.3? Because I Want To Make It ALL ALUMINUM everything that I can on it. Please also suggest some aluminum products for the 4-Tec!

You'll have better luck finding your answers in the traxxas forum. Also, i just modded a ofna .28 force carb to fit the 4-tec 3.3 engine, this thing is gonna be a blast :P

I have the pictures up on the traxxas forums.

thats too bad.

i think powerline or proline makes metal parts but the majority of it is discontinued. Traxxas makes metal parts as well.

Default Thanks Impalabob64

Thanks Impalabob64 for answering my question, and I want to make it all alumium because it weighs less and is stronger, I striped so many spure gears on my old t-maxx 2.5 ( no longer with me) that I found out they make aluminium ones. My cousin used to work in a machine shop so maybe I'll buy plastic parts and he can copy them and then cut them out of aluminuim!

Default powerline racing

besides owning brooklyn hobbies i also own powerline racing . i started making parts for the nitro 4tec about 8 years ago and were selling very well through great planes/tower hobbies . the last year or two the demand for the 4tec parts was so low we had to stop making . it was a great seller for many years but now i have to make 100 -150 of each part to make it worth it but it will take too long to sell . if anybody is interested i can make if they want to sell parts for this car but you will need to buy alot . thanks to all the racers that bought the powerline 4 tec parts .
