so you were running a G4+?18mths of racing meant you had the older G4 I can definately agree that the MTX4 would be a better car in this case!

In my opinion you cant go wrong with a kyosho a Xray or a Mugen there all good in their own way. But if I had to choose and money is no option i am picking the Xray

well now that you guys are in an argument about the cars that you like i was looking at the OFNA 1/8 scale and as for the track there is NOT a track that is raced on BUT it MIGHT in the future so the car will be intended for 95% bashing and 5% racing if that i really like the look (chassis not body) of the OFNA 1/8 car w/ reverse for bashing

Yeah, those darn Team Magic cars, they sure have held back Dario and Darren at those big International races called the Worlds and Euro's.

Seriously, all the cars have merit, all can be potent performers. (Mugen, Kyosho, Serpent, Xray and Yes Team Magic too.

with the right engine, right setup, right skills and some luck , any car could win races...

for me personally, i pick the G4 for its looks...
heart goes to the G4 but mind picks the NT1.

thanks for the back up Steve!! and yes look at all your options with the five cars mentioned and as for parts for the team magic in the USA any hobby shop can order the parts thru wolfhobbies.com, I think you can order online thru speedworldraceway.com, or rcmushroom.com or rcmart.com I have ordered alot with the later two and you get what you want within 10 days. good luck.

Dario and Darren would be able to win driving a 4teck
For us mere mortals, a more user friendly car is prefered!
I wouldn't pay $800+ for a G4+

let me just say it once more for you if money is not a issue and you want quality quickness and just plain old beautiful get the Xray Nt1, I have had a Mtx4r and a V-One RRR WC and now am the proud owner of the Xray and while the others are all quality car, the Xray is on another level

wait till the fwo6 comes out and get the r version for info go to
www.kyosho.com and have a look not much in detail but you will get the idea
it uses mostly virrr evo parts on a shaft driven vehicle best of both worlds

Are you going to just drive this car around the street or are you going to race the car. If you want something to drive around in the street than just get a Kyosho Inferno GT and if you want to make it fly do an engine swap and put any high quality .21 engine in it and its a 1/8 scale. If your going to race this car than i reccomend the NT1 bc in my opinion to really get good with a nitro race car i feel that people should start out in 1/10 scale before jumping up to driving a 1/8 scale on road car such as a Evolva or MRX4 or Serpent 960.
