I don't think you can go blind from smoke. It will make my eyes watery to the point where I can't stand it but I think you get blind only when you drink nitro. At least thats what it says on the warning label. Someone want to try and find out?

odonnel is the worst I've seen... Hope for a breeze if you're pitting for a car using Odonnel because if you have to work on the car while its running... ... It stings so bad in the eyes and especially the olfactory region (nose ).
But I don't think you'll go blind from it... Otherwise there would be many racers of many different disciplines of racing without the use of sight because drag racers and other motor sports utilize nitro... You won't go blind.

I had my first weekend with nitro and had a ton of fun last weekend. I got terribly sick when i had gotten home though and start to feel lightheaded at the track. Has anyone else ever gotten sick from this stuff?? I mean I had a headache and all the other stuff with flu crud symptoms for about 3 hours.

At some of the big races with pro's racing, I have seen some of the pit guys wearing respirators and Oakley ski goggles.
