Default Info for RCX Shootout

I just got off the phone with Glenn. He apologizes for not responding here on tech, they were setting up the track till 11:00pm last night. He will get on RCtech in the afternoon to give any info.

This is the info he gave me this morning:

Check in with the guard at Gate 1 at the Fairplex. I believe it's Marcus from GLARRC, who will be there at the gate as well. Tell them that you are one of the racers and they will allow you to drive down the access road to unload your gear at the track. Then you will drive out to park in the Fairplex parking lot. Where we unload, that's where we'll get our passes for the race.

Robbie Glenn says to give him a call if you have any questions.

I just got off the phone with Glenn all of your information is correct, he also said the track will be open for practice at 7:00am with power, after entering Gate#1 you drop off your equipment and park in another parking lot, he also said there will be overnight security if you want to leave some equipment overnight. See everyone at the track.

Hey guys

Dearest apologies...Ya'll jus don't know how hectic this thing has become. Ok, the track got to the site late due to closure of the 605 and 5 freeways in both directions brcause of a bomb threat, we got it together at 10:00pm last night.

RCX has shorted everybody on available 75mhz frequencies, so I spoke with the gentleman in charge of assigning frequencies and he seemed to think that our track would be out of range for the indoor dirt try me track and as it turns out, we tested some of those frequencies and did seem to have any glitches due to the distance between the 2 tracks and the dirt track being indoors. Also DUB has just parked their custom 18 wheeler/tractor with 50 Cent picture on it in front of our track for the weekend and also put about a dozen custom DUB SUV's, Cars and trucks (the rims are tight!!) this looks like the answer to the delimma. the frequencies are:61, 63, 67, 71, 78, 79.

Main gate opens 7 am; tell the guard you are an RCX racer, veer left on road/alley towards grass/ponds turn right after ponds & you'll see the track; unload your stuff & you can pickup credentials (next door to track). Remove vehicles to parking lot & return thru main entrance; please check in with Sherry before you go out for practice. Practice may start a little later than 7 am due to horses in close proximity to track, We will see. track is sprayed with MMR grip and getting better, we may spray VHT on Saturday.....See you there!
