MUST READ.....Local Racing IS BACK!!!!!!!!!

The Coral springs track is back and better than ever. Thanks to a group effort by our local guys headed by president Thomas Nicolson (who contributed toward most of the expenses), Mike W., Brian B. and those that I forgot ...we'd like to say thanks.

Now about the track, first off the pictures do no justice. The drive line is over 800 ft! ALOT of infield and the lanes, 10ft wide. The layout is quite technical and incorperated are eliments unique to some of the tracks that we now run, 180's, chicanes, switchbacks. etc. The Pit area will be moved so a few minor changes will be necessary to accomodate this.

The rain fell yesterday however we did get over 3hrs of drive time. So far the track has only been sealed however the tire wear was low. I had cut a fresh set of TWISTERS 42sh rear and fronts for practice, rears 62mm front 60! at the end of 5 tanks the rears were at 61.3mm.

We will NEED your help towards the success of the track. Wayne is donating an Air compressor and I (Tino) will also be donating another. For those of you who can't afford a financial contribution your labor will be much appreciated as well as regular race attendance. On that note we'd like for ALL you locals to come check it out!

Thanks
On behalf of our new racing home
See you soon!!

Yes, Thomas, Brian and the rest of the team did a great job! - I will be there for the up-coming Fund raiser race in January.

MDI Racing RC Hobby Shop has already made a commitment to assist with some of the upcoming upgrades the Guys have planned for the track.

Some additional info

We co-exist with the OFF ROAD TRACK and since day 1 it has been enacted that the ON ROAD section use ODD frequencies and EVEN for OFF ROAD. YOU MUST ADHERE TO THIS RULE EXCEPT UNDER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS.

1. No one is running on the OFF ROAD track.
2. You have a spectrum or other DSM system installed.

Thanks for you co-operation

I can't believe its so close of those houses! Tracks are getting closed in the UK for being too close to houses even though the track was there first and they are hundreds of meters away. Looks good either way though.
