Default Airtonics caliber and Spektrum DSM Modules???

Hey guys did a search. Didnt come up with much.

I have a few questions about raidos.....

1. Will the Spektrum Telemerty work with any radio ( even old school) or does it hae to be paried witha 2.4 raido?

2.( most improtant question) Will the spektrum DSM Modules work with a Airtonics caliber raido? It already has the TX RF modules like the M8, M11?

Any help on either question would be great....

Thank you so much....

I know that the Specktrum telemetry works with the Airtronics M8. When they first came out, Specktrum made modules for M8/11, Futaba 3PK, and the KO, Computer FM radios. Telemetry was just an add on to the original module Specktrum system. I have a few of the telemetry modules. I ran it with my M8 and my M11.

I know that the Nomadio systems work with Specktrum 2.4 recievers, but that was using a downloaded softwear upgrade to the Nomadio. I think that every other system is strickly mated to it's own reciever for proprietary reasons. I have to say no to your no. 2 question, but I would call up Airtronics or Futaba customer service for a straight answer.

Caliber was great radio in that era of the 90s I had one love it but there comes a time when you need to upgrade your electronics in the new era of radiosstep up to a M8 you can get them pretty cheap lhs and then you can look into Airtronics 2.4 Dss stsyem or Spectum 2.4 Dsm to upgrade your system.

Smile

correct me if I am wrong but telemetry only works with sr3000 and sr3001 receivers, on the receivers there is a telemetry input port but not on the sr3500??, match it up with either a dx2 or dx3 or better if you want a module for your tx that is dsm then that will be compatible also, my suggestion get your self a futaba 3pks with a spektrum pro module and sr3001 pro rx and you will never look back!the pro rx will cut down transmit time compared to the sr3000 rx.
good luck

If your funds is a problem you don't need a spektrum to be competive just get some extra crystals and race.eek::
