What's the weight on that chassis compared to stock? It looks like it would weigh a ton.

It weighs in at 11.625 ounces, within an ounce of the stock chassis with top deck. It's slightly heavier than the stock chassis and that's sort of the point, The Chassis lowers the center of gravity below the driveline to plant the car to the track, while the stock setup (chassis and top deck) raises it, adding to roll. With the lowered weight and added stiffness, your car will stay planted and controllable in the corners on power or braking. Since most of us overpower our cars with extra horsepower anyway, the key is handling to lower lap times, not just weight. That's what The Chassis was designed for.

Are you going into production with these? Or is it just a one time deal? PM me with the details on getting one.

They're in production now and we've started offering them on eBay. Just search "The Chassis". Here's a look at the steering servo mounting...

I'll have a bunch more pics loaded tonight, those Fixes were the originals, Jason's been running the same set for over a year now! We changed them so you'd have something to hang on to when installing them.

Cool I would like to see more pictures of the complete car.Any chance of getting one anodized blue? Also do you have any more of the "Fix' kits available?

No plans for Blue ones so far, I'll pass your request along though.

Jim,

WOW, great looking chassis. How hard is it to convert from the stock chassis to the new one? Also, how long will you be offering these chassis. 170 is alot, but it seems like its going to be WELL worth the money if it does what you say it will.

BTW, I ordered the fix from you and its going to be tested this weekend when i race. lol! From what everyone says i shouldn't have anything to worry about. when i hit the rails

i'll be getting a chassis as soon as i get some more flow. it looks great. Have you tested it with crashes? I tend to hit things alot and i want to know how tuff it is

The car is more stable and goes where you point it, less twitchy, so I guess if you point it for the pipe it'll find it! Seems to be tougher, but no real catastrophies yet on the track. Seems to be near impossible to traction roll or spin out anymore. We plan to produce them as long as there's a demand. Good luck this weekend with The Fix!

Here's a pic of the chassis with evrything installed but engine and pipe. More pics at the race tomorrow night!
